About Us.

The Junior Woman's Club of Ramsey is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Our members are dedicated, diversified and fun-loving women who are motivated to improving and supporting our community through volunteer service. We strive to improve the quality of life for those in need, near and far, while continuing to foster the friendships that enhance our personal lives.

Established in 1966.

The Junior Woman’s Club of Ramsey (JWCR) was founded on June 17, 1966 by Barbara Chamberlin and a small group of motivated women who were a part of the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC), one of the largest nonpartisan, nondenominational, women's volunteer service organizations, and the group remains part of the Ramapo District of the New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs (NJSFWC), a member of the GFWC. Today JWCR continues to grow and evolve to serve – with hearts and hands – the needs of Ramsey’s citizens and organizations, as well as select institutions in the state of New Jersey and abroad.

Our Mission.

The Junior Woman’s Club of Ramsey (Ramsey Juniors) is a dedicated, diversified and fun-loving group of women who are motivated to improve and support our community through volunteer service. Our club provides a wonderful social outlet for our members and their families and we consider ourselves a great starting place for families that are new to Ramsey. We strive to improve the quality of life for those in need, near and far, while continuing to foster the friendships that enhance our personal lives.

With Hearts & Hands We Serve.

We also provide a wonderful social outlet for our members and their families and consider ourselves a great starting place for families that are new to Ramsey. We have many fun events for adults like Progressive Dinner and Grill Off and for the children events like pumpkin picking and holiday parties. Our club is a great way to give back to our community and make great friends.
